Lee Cooke

Lee was born in Charlotte, NC. He moved to Charleston, SC when he was 9
years old. In 8th grade, Lee discovered the ocean. He didn't actually
discover it...but he was introduced to it. A lot of people already knew
it was there. But he began surfing. Which, in a way, surfing shaped
who he would become later in life. It introduced him to different music
and people than he otherwise would have been around.

His junior year of High School, his good friend David Clayton invited
him to come sing with his band. David had only heard Lee sing in his
car, over top the blaring stereo with giant subwoofers pumping in the
trunk. So, nervously accepting the offer, Lee joined them at practice.
They began performing around town at random coffee shops, talent shows
and at youth group functions with church.

When Lee graduated, he realized the band was going to be heading
different directions for college. So, he got a guitar and learned to
play so he could fill the void of a missing guitarist. Now there are only 4 members in the band (gives everyone a larger cut of all the money that is being made). Over the years, he has gone from a shy, skinny little kid to a confident front man. He's always trying something new that can help entertain and hopefully earn new fans. The rest of the band sometimes gives him a hard time because of his quirky, goofy personality. But that's just one of the many things that make Bixler so special.
