Dave Clayton

It was in middle school, shortly after Dave's parents had moved the family to the east coast that Dave fell in love with music. It was a day in early spring, in the front seat of an old Mustang, that one of Dave's friends introduced him to a fairly new band (at the time) called Weezer. Weeks later, Dave purchased his first guitar and began learning the ten songs contained on the short playing, blue cd.

After having only played guitar for three months, Dave decided it was time to start a band, and he implored the help of several of his good friends including Lee Cooke. The band began playing shows wherever they could, and although the band was more of a hobby than a career move, it served the purpose of starting a fire inside of Dave and Lee. Their deep friendship, love of surfing, and the music that surrounded the local scene began to shape the way the two would write and perform songs.

Once Dave and Lee had relocated to Nashville, TN, in order to continue their schooling, the two began to really pursue music. Over the last several years Dave has continued to write songs that have reflected personal experiences for the entire band, and it is this love music and life that has made Dave love every moment of his involvement with the band.
